Cursos a cubrir  |  Courses to Teach

El profesor será responsable de impartir, según su especialización y necesidades del departamento, cursos de:

  • Organización y Arquitectura de Computadoras (incluyendo GPUs, TPUs y aceleradoras modernas)
  • Sistemas Operativos
  • Cómputo Escalable (clusters, sistemas distribuidos, contenedores)
  • Inteligencia Artificial
  • Seguridad en Cómputo

The faculty member will be responsible for teaching, according to their specialization and departmental needs:

  • Computer Organization and Architecture (including GPUs, TPUs, and modern accelerators)
  • Operating Systems
  • Scalable Computing (clusters, distributed systems, containers)
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Computer Security

Perfil deseable  |  Desired Profile

Requisitos obligatorios / Required qualifications:

  • Doctorado en Ciencias de la Computación, Ingeniería Eléctrica o área afín (concluido o en proceso de conclusión con defensa próxima)
  • Publicaciones en conferencias o journals de primer nivel en el área (e.g., ISCA, MICRO, ASPLOS, SOSP, OSDI, SC, EuroSys)
  • Capacidad demostrada para impartir clases a nivel universitario en español o inglés
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (completed or near completion)
  • Publications in top-tier venues in the field (e.g., ISCA, MICRO, ASPLOS, SOSP, OSDI, SC, EuroSys)
  • Demonstrated ability to teach at the university level in Spanish or English

  • Arquitectura de Grandes Volúmenes de Datos (data lakes, streaming, procesamiento distribuido)
  • Bases de Datos No Relacionales (NoSQL: documentales, grafos, clave-valor, columnares)
  • Series de Tiempo (modelado, predicción, análisis espectral y aplicaciones)
  • Inteligencia Artificial
  • Seguridad en cómputo

The faculty member will be responsible for teaching, according to their specialization and departmental needs:

  • Large-Scale Data Architecture (data lakes, streaming, distributed processing)
  • Non-Relational Databases (NoSQL: document, graph, key-value, columnar)
  • Time Series Analysis (modeling, forecasting, spectral analysis, and applications)
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Computer Security

Perfil deseable  |  Desired Profile

Requisitos obligatorios / Required qualifications:

  • Doctorado en Ciencias de la Computación, Estadística Computacional, Ingeniería de Datos o área afín (concluido; se consideran candidatos en etapa final con defensa programada)
  • Publicaciones en conferencias o journals de primer nivel (e.g., VLDB, SIGMOD, ICDE, KDD, NeurIPS, ICML para el componente de series de tiempo)
  • Dominio técnico demostrable de herramientas y plataformas modernas (Spark, Kafka, MongoDB, Neo4j, ClickHouse o equivalentes)
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Statistics, Data Engineering, or a related field (completed; candidates in final stage with scheduled defense are considered)
  • Publications in top-tier venues (e.g., VLDB, SIGMOD, ICDE, KDD, NeurIPS, ICML for the time series component)
  • Demonstrable technical proficiency in modern tools and platforms (Spark, Kafka, MongoDB, Neo4j, ClickHouse, or equivalents)
